Tobias Fünke is the husband of Lindsay Bluth and the father of Maeby Fünke. He was the chief resident of psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital until he lost his license for giving CPR to a man who was not actually having a heart attack. At one point, he was licensed as both a therapist and analyst, making him the first licensed "analrapist" (Michael suggests that he should have reviewed how the term would be misread before having business cards printed).
