Salty is the wind that howls over Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. In that blowing, hammer blows sometimes still resound. It's the heartbeat of Jan Bakker, the last blacksmith of Spui. His grandson, Broeder Dieleman, interprets the deep beauty of the Scheldt and the zeal on the islands in Zeelandic folk. For about five years he has been delighted with living rooms and stages in Zeeland, alone or in company, but always with banjo and guitar. Now there is Everything is Vanity: his feature debut. To be heard in full far beyond the Zeeuwe granzen.
