Re:O (pronounced as Rio) is a singer-songwriter, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. She was born in Tokyo and grew up in Saitama. Many genres of music like J-Rock, J-Pop, Indie Rock, Indie Pop, Hip Hop, Dream Pop and EDM have an influence on her music. She sung and played guitar and keyboard in several bands and started a solo project in 2020. Her dark, dreamy, ambient and pop sound is influenced by Bjork, The Cure, Daughter, Grimes, Lady Gaga, Nine Inch Nails, The XX and Warpaint.
