Bret Michaels (born Bret Michael Sychak, in Chicora, Pennsylvania, March 15, 1963) is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, reality television personality, and humanitarian. He first gained international recognition in the 1980s as the lead singer of the glam metal band Poison. Beyond Poison, MIcahels has also led a successful solo career. His first solo project, the soundtrack to "A Letter from Death Row," was released in 1998. In 2003, he released his debut studio album "Songs of Life."
