What a Sunday night this was!!! My friend talked me into going to the concert. Because he had a extra ticket for it and he didn't want to go alone. He knew that I love concert's and asked me to go. I didn't want to at first because Toledo is almost a 3 hour from where we live. And we had to work at 5 AM the next morning!!! Against our better judgement we made the decision to go anyhow. We had fun on the way up there!!! Jake had a 90' Mustang 5.0 that we had been building for about two years at that time!!! You name it, we did it to this car, no joke. It was basically missing the role bar and a dang parachute to be a full race track car!!! We made that 2 hour and 45 minutes drive in just under 2 hours!!! So we was pumped...lol We got to Frankie's and made our way inside. This ended up being such a good night Joyner Lucas damn near tore the place down. I instantly became a big fan of his. I loved the way he would take old school sounds and mixed them up with the new stuff and made it sound like that's the way it was always supposed to be!!! The reason I didn't want to go was, the last time I was up there wasn't a fun ride. I hadn't been up that far north in years, for good reason. I was the definition of a problem child!!! Last time I was up there I was locked up in Juvie in Columbus, OH for stealing beer off of trains as a teenager!!! Did close to 3 years in that hellhole!!! It's a good thing I was a minor though, adult time would've been up to 60 year sentence because the railroad is federally owned and we ended up taking 129,879.17 $'s worth of Miller beer from train carts that said "Solid Gold" on them. It was like we had to know what was in them, like we talked about it for a few days and made a plan to see exactly what kind of Solid Gold was in there!!! (Every other day we was hitting them up and selling it to anyone who had money, including all the local bars in our small town. Farmer's bar, The Walk About, Hunters bar, Valley View,The Wagon Wheel and The Williamsdale End. Which is the reason why they figured out that something was going on, none of the Bars were buying any beer from the Miller venders, but they was always stocked full of it. We was selling the kegs for 20 each, 30 packs for 10, 40 Oz for a dollar. We got very, very, very lucky we was kids!!!) I wasted over two and a half years of my life for a bunch of money and every Starter Hat and coat that there was still have a couple of the coats that I had left at my Grandparents house. The Ohio State Buckeyes pullover and the zip up UC Bearcats. I also got to meet Jason (Jelly Roll) Deford there before he got released. That's the one and only good thing I can say about the place!!! Watched a dude dive off a bridge to get away and ended up breaking his neck, back, both arms and killing all the nerves in his neck and back that caused him to end up being a paraplegic. RIP Justin Brock, John Baker, Stevie Baker Jr, Chris Brown, Brandon Haney, John Prewitt and Eddie Whitaker miss y'all bro's!!!
