The final was held on the 28th of April, 2012. Daniele managed to achieve the 2nd place, having received 47,15% of the overall votes from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Before attending DSDS in 2011 he has worked as a cook in Regensburg but has however ended his professional career to realize his desire on becoming an artist.
