Phoenix Lights (AU) are a Launceston, Tasmania punk rock/post-hardcore band who formed in 2008, although their history is longer. Originally named Halfmast, the band under this moniker released a split LP early in their life (approx 2003) and an album in 2007. 2008 saw the release of a four track demo, an introduction of types to the new direction that played catalyst to their change of name.
