Formed in Abergavenny, South Wales, in April 1997, Ruby Cruiser released their debut single ‘Breakpoint With Googie’ on Rough Trade before signing to One Little Indian. Consisting of Ed Smale (vocals/bass), Matthew Phillips (vocals/guitar), Lino Malnati (backing vocals/guitar) and Lee Kendrick (drums), Ruby Cruiser released their debut album ‘Twelve Short Stories’ in 1998, produced by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Feeder, 3 Colours Red).
