Band photo is incorrect. Band in photo is Camera Obscura from Scotland. Silence Obscure was a Fort Worth band active from 1988-1992. The original trio left to right Ford Britain (bass), Daniel Ball (vocals, rhythm guitar), Scott Duncan (lead guitar). The group was backed by a Roland Tr-505 drum machine. This Darkwave group influences include Cocteau Twins and other 4ad bands, Sonic Youth, The Cure. At times the group was proto-Shoegaze. Gig highlights include opening up for the Christian Death reunion tour, Sleep Chamber, various gigs across the state of Texas and many at the legendary Axis club in Fort Worth.
