Argentinean five-piece techno/pop project Altocamet was formed in Mar del Plata in the late '90s by guitarist Adrián Valenzuela, singer Mariana Monjeau, percussionist Pedro Moscuzza, bass/guitar player Guillermo Piacenza, and bassist Rubén Kain. Focused on ambient, trip-hop, and drum'n'bass styles, the band's debut album, called Veladabristolcasino, was produced by Julián Sanza.
