Proudly living on the fringe of popular country music, Boy Named Banjo blends classic americana, bluegrass, folk rock, and traditional country with contemporary drum and bass to create a unique sound all their own. Between 2013 and 2019, Boy Named Banjo independently released two albums and an EP while gathering a cult following. In 2019, the band signed with Mercury Records and released its first professional single "Circles" and an EP sharing the same name with the record label. After being forced to postpone shows during the COVID pandemic, Boy Named a Banjo toured extensively between 2021 and 2022 with country stars like Old Crow Medicine Show, Paul Whitacre, Christian Lopez, Kip Moore, and many others.
