Cross Canadian Ragweed is a Southern country rock band formed in 1994 in Yukon, Oklahoma by lead vocalist/lead guitarist and harmonicaist Grady Cross, rhythm guitarist/backing vocalist Cody Canada, percussionist Randy Ragsdale, and bassist Matt Weidemann (replaced by Jeremy Plato in 1998). The band released seven albums between 1998 and 2009, including five major studio releases with Universal South Records. In 2010, Cross Canadian Ragweed went on hiatus. In 2024, the band announced a single reunion concert, but after tickets sold out, three more dates were added for the weekend of April 12 to 15, 2025 at Boone Pickens Stadium.
