The Headies are an island - a hot, tropical, autonomous punk paradise that is miles removed from the ebbing and flowing trends of a larger music scene. Their latest LP, "Meta-Pop" serves as their declaration of independence from all things lame and a celebration of all things rad (see: raging, Saved By The Bell, B-movies, more raging).
