Atomirotta on suomalainen rappia, bluesia, funkia, jazzia ja punkia yhdistelevä yhtye. Yhtyeen muodostavat Notkea Rotta -yhtyeestä tutut Rotta (Notkea Rotta), Rane Raitsikka ja J. Pajulaakso. Ennen yhtyeen perustamista Rotta oli tutustunut Raitsikan Smackin tuotantoon, mikä oli tehnyt häneen vaikutuksen. Raitsikan asuessa Kat Von Dn vierashuoneessa viimeisinä viikkoinaan Yhdysvalloissa hän oli pyytänyt siskoaan lähettämään suomalaista musiikkia, jolloin hän vuorostaan tutustui Notkean Rotan tuotantoon.
