Originally from Muscle Shoals Alabama, these indie rockers set out to find a home for themselves and their music. This search led them to the dark underground clubs in Chapel Hill, NC. Since relocating Western Civ has hooked up with veteran producer Mitch Easter (REM, Superchunk, Pavement, Birds of Avalon) and recorded a new album that is set to be released in March of 2009.
