Ace Frehley (born Paul Daniel Frehley, April 27, 1951 - October 16, 2025) is a rock guitarist and vocalist, who helped co-found KISS as "The Spaceman" in 1973. He departed from KISS in 1982. Two years later, he founded Frehley's Comet, a short-lived experiment that lasted until 1988. He rejoined KISS for a reunion tour in 1996 and remained with the band until 2002. Throughout his life, Frehley also performed as a solo artist. Between 1978 and 2024, he released eight studio albums. On September 25, 2025, Frehley collapsed in his recoding studio and was hospitalized. During his stay, he was put on life support. On October 16, 2025, Ace Frehley passed away peacefully.
