After "Brown Eyed Girl" was released in 1967, Morrison catapulted to number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. For more than half a century since Van Morrison has released dozens of studio albums and hundreds of singles to much critical acclaim and commercial success. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993 and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2015.
