Following his honorable discharge from the US Army in 1995, Christian Bauman began writing and playing his way up and down the East Coast folk circuit. When not playing solo, he was part of the band Camp Hoboken which included fellow folksingers Gregg Cagno and Linda Sharar. He frequently opened for acts such as Pete Seeger, Jack Hardy, John Gorka, Odetta, Cheryl Wheeler, and Livingston Taylor at clubs uncluding The Iron Horse, Godfrey Daniel's and Eddie's Attic.
