mathien is pretty eclectic from what i've found. He's got a voice that hints toward's R&B, reggae and rock, and the production is usually mid tempo, jazzy and very hip hop product. The use of acoustic/electric guitars, sampling, and funky beats are usually alway there, but the thing that stands out the most are the lyrics. They are always written in a very grabbing manner.
