Forming the Void was an American stoner/sludge/doom metal band from Lafayette, Louisiana. Formed in 2013, the band consisted of James Marshall, Shadi Al-Khansa, Luke Baker, and Jordan Boyd. Their unique blend of atmospheric, progressive sludge with towering fuzzed out riffs places a heavy emphasis on dynamics and layers.
