By the time he was 18, he'd left home to pursue a musical career in Los Angeles. In 2009, he was featured on "Nothin on You" with B.o.B. The following year Travie McCoy featured Bruno Mars on his single "Billionaire." Both reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Since then, Mars has experienced consistent commercial success and critical acclaim.
