Tanned Christ were an Australian grindcore/math-metal band based in Sydney, New South Wales. The band consisted of vocalist Drew Gardner (Totally Unicorn), guitarist Christopher Davies (making), bassist Peter Kossen (also of making, who replaced original bassist Matt Saliba) and drummer Ivan Lisyak (The Paper Scissors, Philadelphia Grand Jury). Forming in 2013, the band released a two-track demo via Soundcloud in November and played their first show the following month with King Parrot at Sydney's Annandale Hotel.
