An anomaly in the soul scene of the 60's, Barbara & Brenda were an auntie & niece duo from Kingston, North Carolina. they recorded for the Heidi label as well as the Dynamo label affiliated with Musicor. After auntie Brenda quit, Barbara aka Barbara Roy went on to join 70's vocal group "Ecstacy, Passion & Pain" and continued as a solo act into the mid 1990's.
