Dave Chappelle's 2002 Concert History

Dave Chappelle (born August 24, 1973) is a 52 year-old comedian, who launched his career as the star of the Comedy Central sketch comedy series "Chappelle's Show," which aired from 2003 to 2006. His infamous Rick James impersonation on the show was widely acclaimed and contributed to its cultural impact. Chappelle departed during the production of the third season due to concerns about the direction the show was taking. In addition to "Chappelle's Show," he has made notable appearances in films such as "Half Baked" and "The Nutty Professor." His television career also includes memorable roles on "Saturday Night Live," which he hosted multiple times. Chappelle has been prolific on Netflix, releasing four stand-up specials in 2017 and "The Closer" in 2021. In 2022, Netflix aired "What's In a Name?" featuring Chappelle delivering a speech at his alma mater, the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. He resides near Yellow Springs, Ohio, and stands at 6 feet (~1.83 meters).
