In addition to "Chappelle's Show," he has made notable appearances in films such as "Half Baked" and "The Nutty Professor." His television career also includes memorable roles on "Saturday Night Live," which he hosted multiple times. Chappelle has been prolific on Netflix, releasing four stand-up specials in 2017 and "The Closer" in 2021.
