DeeJay Punk-Roc was born in Brooklyn, NY, back in 1971. The youngest of six children, Punk-Roc cut his teeth on the funky sounds of such 1970s and '80s stars as Parliament, Barry White, the Isley Brothers, Sugar Hill Gang, and Grandmaster Flash; he also began DJing at parties.
