Sting's 1995 Concert History

Sting (born Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, in Wallsend, England, October 2, 1951) is an iconic English musician, best known as the founding member, lead singer, and bassist for The Police from 1977 to 1986, when the band broke up. After The Police disbanded, Sting embarked on a successful solo career, producing hits like "Fields of Gold" and "Shape of My Heart." His collaboration with Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart, "All For Love," became his most commercially successful hit, reaching number one in the US and several other countries. Sting reunited with The Police reunited for a performance in 2003 when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and again for a tour in 2007-2008. He has been married twice, first to Frances Tomelty (1976-1984), with whom he had two children, and then to Trudie Styler (1992-present), with whom he has four. Sting is 74 years old.
