Mollie McLean Neck Deep: 3.75 stars out of 5 TRASH SECURITY Crowd was packed and they weren’t handing out water so my friend fainted. The gig itself was really good from the back and the band’s energy was really high. Neck Deep / As It Is / Real Friends / Woes Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Soft Play (fka Slaves): 3.75 stars out of 5 SEATED MISTAKE Great set and stage presence however Slaves are not a band you want to see in seated SOFT PLAY / Shame / Life Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Courtney Barnett: 4.25 stars out of 5 OLDER CROWD The crowd was mostly made up of older men, however this made the gig really chill which was nice. Courtney has great stage presence and her setlist was perfect. Mosh to depreston Courtney Barnett Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Black Honey: 2 stars out of 5 TOO LARGE A VENUE Although the venue was packed, it felt like Black Honey couldn’t get the traction as most people were there waiting for the next band. Didn’t end up remembering much of their set. Live At Leeds 2017 Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Soft Play (fka Slaves): 1.5 stars out of 5 TOO ROUGH This is when Slaves started to be a band I didn’t want to see; this gig was just too rough. A full crowd of sweaty teenage and early 20s boys without shirts and absolutely no crowd etiquette. I loved the band and they played well but it was completely overshadowed. SOFT PLAY / Lady Bird / Willie J Healey Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Wolf Alice: 4.75 stars out of 5 A GREAT NIGHT Crowd was amazing, energy from the band was great, and we moved to the back at the perfect time so didn’t end up being too tired. Sunflower Bean / Wolf Alice Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Soft Play (fka Slaves): 4.5 stars out of 5 GREAT ENERGY As one of the headliners of Live At Leeds, Slaves did great. The atmosphere was amazing and crowd was very respectful, and the setlist was just as good. Live At Leeds 2017 Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Anne-Marie: 4.25 stars out of 5 GREAT AS A SMALL ACT Anne-Marie was great to see so early on. Super chatty with crowd and had great stage presence. Anne-Marie Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Pale Waves: 2.25 stars out of 5 NOTHING SPECIAL Band didn’t interact with the crowd (who were also fairly disinterested) and didn’t have much stage presence. Pale Waves Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Ratboy: 2.5 stars out of 5 TOO MANY YOUNG FANS Set was good, crowd was mostly younger people which made it a bit awkward. Ratboy Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Black Honey: 4 stars out of 5 SHORT BUT SWEET As it was a festival set it was just under 30 mins, played all their biggest songs and kick started my liking for this band! Even managed to get a setlist. Black Honey Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Twin Atlantic: 3 stars out of 5 AVERAGE Don’t remember much, but their energy was good. Twin Atlantic Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean The Wombats: 4 stars out of 5 Definitely saw them at the right age here, and really enjoyed it. The crowd was a little bit rowdy though. The Wombats / Feeder / Soul II Soul / Badly Drawn Boy / Little Comets / Marsicans Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean The Big Moon: 4.25 stars out of 5 AMAZING ENERGY The band had great energy on stage and you could tell that they were having great fun despite a small crowd. The Big Moon Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Nothing But Thieves: 4 stars out of 5 Great setlist and stage presence Bingley Music Live Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Twenty One Pilots: 2.25 stars out of 5 NO CHANGE SINCE 2016 They played virtually the same set as they did in their 2016 tour and had very similar set design. The crowd was really dead including during jumpsuit and the setlist felt disjointed Twenty One Pilots / The Regrettes Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Bring Me The Horizon: 4.5 stars out of 5 BRILLIANT PRODUCTION Support act (Don Broco) was a great choice and really set up the crowd for the rest of the night. The setlist was amazing, and the visuals on stage were great especially given that I was in seated. Bring Me The Horizon / Don Broco / Basement Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean The 1975: 3.75 stars out of 5 GOOD FROM THE FRONT After having queued for hours we ended up with a good spot and so had water and a great view, I cant imagine it being very good from further back as the security were not very good. The 1975 / Pale Waves / No Rome Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Dodie: 3 stars out of 5 QUIET I didn’t particularly want to go, and so I struggled to enjoy the gig as it was very low energy. Dodie played well and it was a well chosen setlist though. Dodie / Greta Isaac / Martin Luke Brown Apr 21, 2025
Mollie McLean Peach Pit: 4.25 stars out of 5 VENUE TOO SMALL The band played amazing and their song choices were perfect, but the venue was just too small and it meant that everyone was constantly being pushed Peach Pit Apr 21, 2025
