 Danielle van Gastel Personal Trainer: 4.5 stars out of 5 COMEDY & HIGH CLASS A band that is a must see live! You'll be amazed, pleasantly Surprised, treated with some jokes and comedy and high class music. International sound and smart, catchy songs but I have to say, the intro was quite alternative, strange and a bit hard to 'get involved' therefor not a 5 but nevertheless 1 of the best live bands in the Netherlands that is very promising and prepared and capable to hit the road abroad.  Danielle van Gastel Ist Ist: 4.25 stars out of 5 GOOD! AS ALWAYS 🩵 My 4th Ist Ist gig and in the biggest Venue they have ever played. But no worries as the crowd was dedicated, lightning, staging and sound very good! Quite some songs from a new to be released album, repercussions, the kiss and lost my shadow. Furthermore a well balanced mix in their setlist of all albums and approx 22 songs. I have to say i did miss extreme greed and Jennifers lips on this list, songs I really like. In general you could really feel the band was blessed to play for such a 'big' crowd and happy with the warm welcome and dedication of us 'fans ' Ist Ist / October Drift Apr 21, 2025
 Danielle van Gastel Fontaines D.C.: 4.25 stars out of 5 THIS GIG WAS 'BIG' Venue was over crowded but good atmosphere and not too much 'Dutch disease' in the back. Setlist was great, the old ones that made the band 'big' but also a lot of new songs from the newborn Skinty Fia. Sounds and light were absolutely fantastic.  Danielle van Gastel Wunderhorse: 4.75 stars out of 5 SOOO PROMISING! My 3rd Wunderhorse gig and the band grew! Unbelievable how they perform and transfer their songs into live experience. All so talented and amazing with their instruments. Next to the 'Cub' favorites (Teal, Purple and leader of the pack) we were treated with some new songs like Midas, July, Arizona and do you feel the rain. Unfortunately no encore and not enough songs to play more than 1 hour. Some sjng a longs as the audience is always dedicated. Big shout out for awesome sound and staging. Wunderhorse Apr 21, 2025

 Danielle van Gastel Wet Leg: 3.75 stars out of 5 CATCHY BRITISH INDIE 45 minutes British indie rock in a packed small venue. The crowd had fun and enjoyed it, the band also. The songs were catchy and smart but have to say that I'm very curious how the band will develop as the voices are not that strong. For now it was fun, new, fresh and entertaining.  Danielle van Gastel Half Moon Run: 4.75 stars out of 5 TRULY MAGIC Enthusiastic, powerful, acoustic, full of energy, folk and that all combined in a beautiful and diverse setlist. Experts in performance and multi instrumentalists. Stunning voices and a very dedicated and awesome crowd as well. Loved the new songs from the album Salt as well.  Danielle van Gastel Ist Ist: 4.5 stars out of 5 IST IST IS WOW A secret showcase but this band absolutely needed to be on the official line-up of ESNS. This band is Full of Energy and Reminds Me Of Joy Division Meets White Lies meet Editors . Vocals and instruments and lyrics all chosen so very well. 2nd time live for me and will not be the last. The band is so dedicated and professional and exactly what was missing at esns official in emerging UK rock artists with alternative sound but tough commercial.  Danielle van Gastel Ciel: 3.25 stars out of 5 POTENTIE DAT ZEKER! Ciel heeft catchy songs en ze zitten muzikaal prima in elkaar. De band moet echter nog meters maken. De locatie zat ook niet mee en dat was erg jammer. Niet intiem genoeg en geen sfeer in deze 'aula '. Zonde want in hun set zitten n paar fijne songs die direct in je gehoor blijven.  Danielle van Gastel SPRINTS: 3 stars out of 5 TE HOGE VERWACHTING Zonde dat de gitaar van de frontvrouw slecht te horen was. Fijne songs en eigenlijk is dat wat de set zou moeten maken. Belichting en locatie zaten mee dus zonde dat sprints vooral bezig was met het publiek mee te krijgen ipv te spelen, te doen waarvoor ze kwamen op dit 'showcase' fest. Daarom geen verpletterende indruk. Op de v11 en Misty Fields een betere set van hen gezien. SPRINTS Apr 21, 2025
 Danielle van Gastel Keg: 4 stars out of 5 MUSIC ROLLERCOASTER Een muzikale roller coaster met een bak vol energie, ironie, spoken word, post punk, synths, een sterke frontman en een hele markante koperblazer. En dat alles loopt gesmeerd en is in geen enkel hokje te plaatsen. De set vliegt voorbij en doet me de ene keer denken aan idles, dan sleaford mods of Viagra boys. Uniek en eigen, maar niet toegankelijk voor 'n groot publiek. Zal niche blijven en voor mij oone to remember. Keg Apr 21, 2025

 Danielle van Gastel Wunderhorse: 5 stars out of 5 IT WAS BEYOND & MORE What An awesome gig was this.the first ever dutch Wunderhorse show and sold out ! After canceling indiestad and London calling I was so much looking forward to this. All 4 musicians are so good and the setlist was well balanced . Except for Atlantis and Mantis all songs from the album Cub. Also a new song 'arizona' was presented to the crowd,that consisted of only music lovers and fans. Teal, leader of the pack, purple,girl behind the glass were all sing a longs. What i find quite Nice Is that almost all songs have a great intro, a chorus and a focus in going to the coda/outro with always a twist and more sound and guitars. With only 1 debut album quite impressive and feels like so much more to explore of Them live. I guess this band Will be a favorite for coming years ánd festivals. Wunderhorse Apr 21, 2025
 Danielle van Gastel Pixies: 4.25 stars out of 5 PIXIES ARE LEGENDS Circa 37 songs op de setlist. Van nieuwe naar oude songs.niet lullen maar poetsen.nul nada geen interactie maar een 2 uur en 40 minuten durende muzikale reis langs alle albums en tevens veel van doggerel. De intro was met een twist, en werd na 1 minuut afgebroken om over of opnieuw te gaan voor wave of mutilation. Nog verrassend goed bij stem en een enkele keer zakte het even in maar vooral de aandacht van het publiek en de die hard fans maakte het een mooie avond. Het geluid was prima (bij support Wunderhorse minder jammergenoeg) maar de zaal was te vol. Chapeau voor de lucht technici. Pixies / Wunderhorse Apr 21, 2025

 Danielle van Gastel Wunderhorse: 4.25 stars out of 5 WUNDERFUL-A MUSTSEE! Wunderhorse presented 7 songs as support of the Pixies.so well chosen!! The short setlist was of great quality from poppy,butterflies,Arizona,Teal, leader of the pack,girl behind the glass and epilogue. The sound was not great and the stage too big as the audience was not really Listening yet and waiting for pixies or their beers.it felt a bit like a reunion and pub where people were having conversations. But in front of the stage there was a fanbase that seemed to have traveled to the Hague for not only pixies. The songs were received enthusiastic and some small sing a longs. All the songs are like poetry with great twists in instruments and melodies. Also surprisingly good voice live! Can't wait to see another show if Wunderhorse.i absolutely recommend this band as ones to watch and explore live. Pixies / Wunderhorse Apr 21, 2025
 Danielle van Gastel Paceshifters: 5 stars out of 5 MIND BLOWN There are live bands and the Paceshifters live. At the moment one of Dutch best live bands if you like rock, garage rock, blues, punk, mind blowing drum rhythms and absolutely stunning voices. So complete with 3 musicians.
