Danielle van Gastel Viagra Boys: 4 stars out of 5 VIAGRA SHOT & MOSH! Danielle van Gastel The Haunted Youth: 4 stars out of 5 INDIEPOP IN ITS BEST Wat een fijne nieuwe band is dit! Genoten. The Haunted Youth Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Moss: 5 stars out of 5 PERFECTION! Moss Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Holly Humberstone: 4.5 stars out of 5 HOLLY:ABOVE & BEYOND Wow, Holly ánd band! What a perfect match. I'd never thought her 'fragile' voice could also 'rock'. The band was of such added value to her songs and the setlist was perfectly chosen. From poppy vanilla and the walls are way too thin ... To a new song 'Dive' and Elvis impersonators about sister love....Even the 'fragile' and first ever released song Deep End. I actually can't wait to see it again, hopefully a summer festival...(she had to cancel BKS once before but I would not mind to see her ánd her awesome band there:)) Holly Humberstone / Medium Build Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Declan McKenna: 4.75 stars out of 5 INSANE GOOD Declan is not a hype, it's an absolutely multitalented artist with great songs and a complete band, grown so much. Perfectly created setlist, nice stagelights and really good atmosphere. A lot of new songs and the old ones had an upgrade live (loved Paracetamol still) . The crowd sang all songs, amazing, really. For The encore after a seriously entertaining and strong set of at least 70 minutes, another 5 songs were added. I really liked humongous going smoothly into isombard. And Declan playing the piano. I absolutely thought about multitalented Prince a lot during the gig and afterwards. Declan McKenna Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Ben Howard: 5 stars out of 5 BREATHTAKING&BEYOND Breath taking performance of Ben and his band in a beautiful venue. Stunning visuals and so talented musicians, especially India Bourne stole my heart as well, again. She is só important on the cello, piano and most of all backings! Felt as a real interactive gig but on the contrary it was not at all as it was an almost full 2 hours of extremely well chosen songs from mostly ,the last 3 albums. And heads up for the crowd, as it was so quiet during the live performance as you could almost hear a pin drop. So this is absolutely what Ben and the band deserved to get, a great audience and full attention. I liked Moonraker, couldn't make it up and I forget where we where the most. Actually I liked them all but these touched my deepest soul and produced a tear on my face and a big smile and memory forever. I've seen Ben in smaller and bigger venues and always well performing but this was above and beyond all. Ben Howard / Mabe Fratti Apr 21, 2025

Danielle van Gastel Opera Alaska: 5 stars out of 5 PURE INDIE LOVE! Seated concert, love seats for 2,but absolutely close to perfection in the way of atmosphere, stagelight, interaction on stage, music, lyrics and laid back indie vibes. Stunning voice of Marien and perfect guitars and synths. Very cosy. Opera Alaska Apr 21, 2025

Danielle van Gastel Personal Trainer: 4.5 stars out of 5 COMEDY & HIGH CLASS A band that is a must see live! You'll be amazed, pleasantly Surprised, treated with some jokes and comedy and high class music. International sound and smart, catchy songs but I have to say, the intro was quite alternative, strange and a bit hard to 'get involved' therefor not a 5 but nevertheless 1 of the best live bands in the Netherlands that is very promising and prepared and capable to hit the road abroad. They always take the stage and treat the crowd with high quality music. Personal Trainer / The Super Soakers Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Ist Ist: 4.25 stars out of 5 GOOD! AS ALWAYS 🩵 My 4th Ist Ist gig and in the biggest Venue they have ever played. But no worries as the crowd was dedicated, lightning, staging and sound very good! Quite some songs from a new to be released album, repercussions, the kiss and lost my shadow. Furthermore a well balanced mix in their setlist of all albums and approx 22 songs. I have to say i did miss extreme greed and Jennifers lips on this list, songs I really like. In general you could really feel the band was blessed to play for such a 'big' crowd and happy with the warm welcome and dedication of us 'fans ' Ist Ist / October Drift Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Fontaines D.C.: 4.25 stars out of 5 THIS GIG WAS 'BIG' Venue was over crowded but good atmosphere and not too much 'Dutch disease' in the back. Setlist was great, the old ones that made the band 'big' but also a lot of new songs from the newborn Skinty Fia. Sounds and light were absolutely fantastic. Personally I found it a bit of a pity that Jackie down the line was a bit too fast and simple live. But.. One to absolutely remember. Fontaines D.C. / Just Mustard Apr 21, 2025
Danielle van Gastel Wunderhorse: 4.75 stars out of 5 SOOO PROMISING! My 3rd Wunderhorse gig and the band grew! Unbelievable how they perform and transfer their songs into live experience. All so talented and amazing with their instruments. Next to the 'Cub' favorites (Teal, Purple and leader of the pack) we were treated with some new songs like Midas, July, Arizona and do you feel the rain. Unfortunately no encore and not enough songs to play more than 1 hour. Some sjng a longs as the audience is always dedicated. Big shout out for awesome sound and staging. Wunderhorse Apr 21, 2025

Danielle van Gastel Wet Leg: 3.75 stars out of 5 CATCHY BRITISH INDIE 45 minutes British indie rock in a packed small venue. The crowd had fun and enjoyed it, the band also. The songs were catchy and smart but have to say that I'm very curious how the band will develop as the voices are not that strong. For now it was fun, new, fresh and entertaining. Highlights were absolutely wet dream, Angelica, ur mum, supermarket and the final song chaise longue Wet Leg Apr 21, 2025
