 Brucefan24 The Roundabout Theatre Company's Off-Broadway production of Noah Haidle's play Mr. Marmalade, starring "Six Feet Under" actor Michael C. Hall, officially opened at the company's Laura Pels Theatre on Nov. 20. In the play, Hall portrays the title character—an imaginary businessman dreamt up by Lucy (Mamie Gummer), a four year old with a penchant for comically intrepreting the adult world with her friend Larry (Pablo Schreiber). At left, Gummer and Hall, as well as Haidle, director Michael Greif (Rent) and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'s Bill Irwin are seen after the performance. Below, the cast gives their opening night curtain call at the Laura Pels Theatre, which is housed in the Harold & Mimi Steinberg Center for the Theatre, at 11 West 46th Street in New York City.  Brucefan24 The Lifespan of a Fact, a new play by Jeremy Kareken, David Murrell, and Gordon Farrell, and directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman, started performances September 20 at Studio 54, ahead of an official opening October 18. The cast is comprised of Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, and Daniel Radcliffe, and is based on the true events surrounding John D'Agata's essay "What Happens There" about the suicide of teenager Levi Presley. The play explores the quandary of what passes for truth in literary nonfiction, and features Cannavale as the writer D'Agata, Radcliffe as determined young fact-checker John Fingal, and Jones as his demanding boss Emily Penrose.  MILOCAMPO My VIOLENT FEMMES story: VIOLENT FEMMES 4/20/1986 One Step Beyond - Santa Clara,CA. THE BLIND LEADING THE NAKED tour. (I had drove up to San Francisco the night before to see them at THE WARFIELD THEATRE and it was SOLD OUT and I couldn't score ticket. I ended up driving the 2 hours back home to Monterey. the next day I heard they were playing a club just south of Frisco. I called the club to confirm they were playing and that they still had tickets. I drove up to the club and by the time I got there the tickets were all sold out. I walked around the parking lot for a bit looking for a ticket. after a while I saw Brian & Victor pull into the parking lot in the back of a car. I followed the car around the back of the building and talked to Brain & Victor when they got out of the car. I gave them my whole SOB story of trying to see them the day before and now this show. they told me to follow them. there was a line for the show all the way around the building. we walked by the line and nobody noticed who was walking by them! we went to the backstage door and Brian & Victor walked into the club and the security guy stopped me. I yelled for Brian & Victor and they told the security to let me in. I thanked them and we went our separate ways. I sat along the wall next to the stage. at one point Gordon Gano walked by and gave me a head nod. after a while there were a bunch of roadies looking under the stage and all around the stage. they finally announced that the club had a BOMB THREAT called in and they were looking for a bomb. lol they asked the crowd if they wanted to cancel the show or go on with it. the crowd said they wanted the show to go on. so the boys came out and opened the show with OLD MOTHER REAGAN (X2).)
