 Chris Goslitski Saturday was Dance Day and Sunday was Roots Day. The Freestylers played both days at pretty much the same time. I saw them Saturday and they were so good that I watched them again on Sunday. The drums being played live on ‘Warning’ was a sight to behold trust me. When the festival was over I noticed the headlights on my van were on but very dim. The battery was flat and I was parked in Hackney Marshes field. Had no trouble rounding up about 10 volunteers, all off their face, to push my van and bump start it. Thanks guys Essential Festival 2001 Jan 30, 2025
