 ManleyStanley I went to this show with a buddy from the apartments where I lived. It was not well attended and they had tables set up perpendicular to the stage. Me and Albert sat right in the front, dead center, and rocked our little a**es off. This was the first of two times I saw BTO live, the other being a few years after at a nightclub (The Boiler Room in West End, Dallas). Both times were all 4 original members.  pedral Both acts sounded so much better live than on their studio albums. Never ever have I seen mouth and throat muscles move in the way that Bouche Amplifiée could contract them. The noise he made was just astounding.  Cookie I went by myself but was so happy to get there as seeing Ed again in full band mode with a few Aussie music luminaries providing backup, including his old mate Mark Dawson on Drums and Peter Oxley on bass from the Sunnyboys and Alister Spence on piano and Eamon Dilworth on brass, certainly gave me chills of seeing Ed back in the day at the Landsdowne or Harold Park Hotel, pumping out those bangers he has become synonymous with amongst Aussie music fans of his genre. The crowd were of a certain vintage but when Ed and band mates hit the stage, everyone was enthralled and captivated to hear him play his tunes again with his band for the first time since 2009. an amazing night and happy to go see Ed Kuepper anytime he's around.
