masahiro ikeda Who was the opening act that day? The Beach Boys Jul 25, 2024
BossDj This was my first GLaSS show, and I don't know if these words can do it justice. 3 days after 9/11, everybody was numb. The Motet rocked the opener and set the stage for the night. GLaSS took the stage and just started pumping this energy into the crowd, and they cut loose. The entire first set I was feet from the stage dancing like nothing mattered. They came out for the second set, well just Garrett and his guitar and harmonica, and he played his on 9/11 song. Maybe the most poignant and moving song about that tragedy IMO, and the first one I had heard. Hearing it for the first time right in front of us and feeling that emotion, I'm not ashamed to admit there were tears in my eyes. Then they picked it back up with an epic second set and it was like soup for the soul. I've seen lots of GLaSS shows since then all around CoS and Denver and also Asheville, but that show will always be the best one in my memory. I got a chance to meet Garrett after a show in Asheville last year, and tell him the story about how 20 years before, they helped heal a crowd of complete strangers just days after one of the worst tragedies we've ever seen. It was cool to take a minute and tell him this story that I've carried with me, and he's as chill as you would think. G. Love & Special Sauce / The Motet Jul 25, 2024
nomoretape Even though i saw the pedo FPS before that came out, I didn't want to add him but now that someone else added him, I cant remove it now. Now his name appears on my page which I thought would be my own personal page of keeping track of all the shows I went to. Not for others to edit my stuff State Champs / Handguns / Forever Came Calling / Front Porch Step / Heart To Heart / Brigades Jul 25, 2024

Tony Farley These guys exceeded my expectations playing live. I am a huge Zeppelin fan and did not see where they tried to be Zeppelin. They are their own band with their own sound. They just so happen to have an old style of playing. I am in my 50’s and have seen many concerts. These guys are definitely going to be a classic band playing for many years, God willing!!!
