Igatti My roommate Fitz and I sat main floor, seventh row on the left side, in the center of the wall of speakers stacked up on stage-right. XTC opened with an electric set that set the tone for the entire evening. The Police were on fire that night, touring in support of Zenyatta Mondatta, along playing a bunch of their early songs. My favorite moment was the massive bass grove, during Walking on the Moon. This show was one of the loudest I’ve ever seen. For three weeks after this show my left ear had a horrible whistling hum, that sounded like it was constantly shifting pitch, higher than lower. It was MADDENING, thankfully it ended. Wear Earplugs…you’ll thank me later. The Police / XTC Mar 03, 2024
BuckFifty It was very hot and I watched dozens drop from it around the stage and throughout the crowd. It was surreal being backstage with all access. E erything was readily available yet I neither ate nor drank anything but water. That was uncharacteristic of my under 21 yr old me. Lollapalooza '92 Mar 03, 2024

Igatti I didn't have tickets for this show. On the day of show my friend Chuck, who was working in catering, called and said whoever has the most blow can go to the show. My brother was a big dealer at the time and we went. Our house passes allowed us to stand in front of the first row of seat, right at Eddies feet. To those of you behind us, I'm sorry for ruining your night. We were GACKED OUTTA OUR MINDS. Incredible show but, I do not miss those days. Van Halen Mar 02, 2024
