sumenyc In looking for something related to the August 8, 1974 CSNY concert, I saw the previous comments. The concert was Thursday, August 8, not the 9th. It was the evening of August 8th that Nixon announce from the Oval Office that he would resign the following day, effective as of noon. Nixon's speech was at 9pm on August 8, in the middle of the concert. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young / The Band Mar 30, 2023

Jeffrey Lee Midnight Snack is a Pop R&B trio consisting of Tje Austin, Miggy Milla and Zack Morgan. Formed in 2020 as "Miggy & Tje", and adopting their new name in the Summer of 2022, their sound feels familiar like something you've heard your whole life, but with a sprinkle of something new and unique that leaves you wanting more. Playing as a trio primarily, they also collaborate with some of Austin's finest musicians for full-band live experiences. With highlights including a SXSW Showcase in 2021, and playing some of Austin's favorite venues such as Saxon Pub, 3TEN, Scoot Inn, Half Step, and their monthly Pershing residency - they have quickly grown to become a staple in the Austin music community. RickyRacer Cheap Trick is coming to the Fred in Peachtree City! Originally forming in 1973, Cheap Trick broke through to mainstream popularity in 1979 with their breakthrough No. 4 live album, At Budokan, and the Top 10 single “I Want You To Want Me.” The bands follow-up album, Dream Police reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band has won over legions of loyal fans with 17 studio albums and a catalog of hits such as “Surrender,” “Ain’t That A Shame,” “Dream Police,” “The Flame,” and more. Throughout their career, which spans more than 5 decades, the band has performed more than 5,000 live shows and has sold more than 20 million albums. Cheap Trick was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Their heavy guitar-driven sound, laden with punk-rock undertones delicately balanced with power pop paved the way for arena rock acts and has been cited as influencing artists such as Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam, and Smashing Pumpkins. Ess En No one heard Groundhogs at this show. They cancelled and weren't there. The band "Ramatam" filled-in, which had Mitch Mitchell (Jimi Hendrix) on drums. I'm not the only one that remembers this. 7th comment in: https://www.daytonhistorybooks.com/board/board_topic/1550893/453000.htm?page=2 Black Sabbath / Groundhogs Mar 28, 2023

TEEJAY5150 I sat third row on the inner aisle in the section on the left side facing the stage. Killer seats for one of the very last shows that Bon Scott ever played, R.I.P. BON, we miss you badly. I believe this show was the last one of the North American leg of the Highway To Hell tour. One of the best concerts I've ever seen, (and I've seen a lot).
