Martin Hizer The stellar line up says it all! Cliff was the only downer of the day plus I felt Floyd seemed to be a touch road weary! Memorable moment, Jimmy Page unexpectedly joining Robert Plant on stage. (I felt like I'd seen god!) Iconic Gig! The Nordoff-Robins Silver Clef Award Winners Show Sep 23, 2023
Martin Hizer So communism in Germany ended with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Roger Waters and guests played the Iconic Pink Floyd album 'The Wall' at the site of the Berlin Wall. Unfortunately the sound on the whole left side of the Potsdamer Platz went down which obviously affected the gig but still a great night. This trip though, was mostly notable for missing the coach to our ferry and numerous other great stories! ‘The Wall’ Live in Berlin Sep 23, 2023
Martin Hizer So this really hot little blonde that I'd met once and who worked for this insurance company that arranged the policies for the mortgage company that I worked for, says, 'I've got a spare ticket for Bowie, Wanna go with me?, we can get a hotel room!'(I had that power back then!) Hell Yeah! Oh, the gig was great too! ;-) David Bowie / The Men They Couldn't Hang / Gene Loves Jezebel / Two Way Street Sep 23, 2023
