Slkenesk20 This was an outdoor show at San Diego Stadium. There was also an unknown band called Shakin’ Street briefly in before Pat Travers, they were a Sandy Pearlman project that went nowhere. Cheap Trick had the plum early evening slot and they were at that time probably more popular and definitely hotter than BOC. They were amazing and lit the place up. BOC literally put people to sleep around me, Cheap Trick burned up all the energy that night. Blue Öyster Cult / Cheap Trick / U.F.O. / Pat Travers Aug 14, 2021
Duchess.of.Mirth On the last Tuesday night in May 2019, Little Feat continued their triumphant 50th anniversary tour in Oakland at the storied Fox Theater. Time-honored members Bill Payne (piano, keys, synth), Paul Barrere (guitars), Kenny Gradney (bass), Sam Clayton (percussion), and Fred Tackett (guitars, mandolin, trumpet) were joined by Gabe Ford (drums) and very special guests Midnight Ramble Horns (Steve Bernstein, Erik Lawrence, Jay Collins,) for a night of career-spanning classics. (Paul Barrere died of cancer later that year in October) Little Feat Aug 14, 2021
Duchess.of.Mirth Rodney Dillard put the entire harmonica IN his mouth, played it and guitar! Someone stumbled on the guitar intro for "Eight Miles" and they had to start over. The Byrds / Buffalo Springfield / The Dillards Aug 14, 2021

J.R. Conoli This was an amazing show - venue holds about 4k maybe 5k packed. 38 special was a brand new band and played their whole 1st release “self titled” I remember Donnie Van Zant tossing beers into the crowd during the set… Skynyd tore the roof off the place. Sound system was crankin’ They basically played the whole “One more from the road” release. 3months later: 😪😭😢😪 Lynyrd Skynyrd / .38 Special Aug 13, 2021
PKHoff Amazing summer night at one of the greatest sites to experience a concert. Young was late to the 9:00pm start time and played on well past midnight. Magical. Neil Young Aug 13, 2021

JR Superstar I was there and the first band was Rex ( fronted by Rex Smith) not T-Rex. Lynyrd Skynyrd was pretty sloppy as Van Zant was guzzling JD and was absolutely hammered by the end of the set. Lynyrd Skynyrd / Rex / REO Speedwagon / Foreigner / Ted Nugent Aug 12, 2021
KraftDinner95 Cute newish venue, but their food menu is VERY limited. Almost nothing if you are gluten-free Two Of Us - An Acoustic Tribute to Lennon & McCartney Aug 11, 2021

Krambed This is Krambed with my comment. Everything I’ve seen previously regarding this concert said that Spirit was the supporting act. Not so. I worked at Disneyland part-time until I graduated a month after the concert. When I heard of the concert I walked across Karelia Ave to the Anaheim Convention Center and bought 2 tickets. One for me and one for this beautiful red head I met at Knottt’s Berry Farm. This was where guys in the know went to meet girls and boy DoD did I meet some. Disneyland was also great but almost all were on vacation from European countries. Anyway, Heather and I went to see Cream. I’d never heard of either Black Pear or Three Dog Night. Black Pearl was pretty good but never heard about them again. I remember 3 songs Three Dog Night sang were One, Nobody, and Try A Little Tenderness and they nearly stole the show. Cream was AWESOME!!! I got married a d had my first daughter a year later and couldn’t afford to go to another concert. BUMMER! Cream / Spirit Aug 09, 2021
