kwyjibo2112 Someone who was there recorded this show. It is part 3 of The Rochester Trilogy. Thank you for recording and making it public. Rush / Candlebox Oct 05, 2019
kwyjibo2112 That setlist has a few small errors, this one is correct. 96.5 WCMF- THE local rock radio station was celebrating their 33rd birthday and had a special price on a pair of tickets, I think it was 2 for $33. The ticket says $18.00. Great show! Love the acoustic Resist after Neil's drum solo.  kwyjibo2112 I got 2 free lawn seat tickets from Dave Kane, the main DJ at 96.5 WCMF in Rochester NY. As both of us are HUGE Stevie Ray Vaughan fans, I gave him a copy of the only known recording of Stevie's last show in Alpine Valley WI, on August 26, 1990. He died in a helicopter crash a short time after the show had ended, early on August 27, 1990. Dave offered a couple of tickets to a few upcoming shows and I grabbed 2 tickets for The Dead. I didn't care for Joan Osbourne's singing, but the band was awesome! Robert Hunter played great and was not impressed with Bob Dylan, especially when they told all of the tapers to turn off their equipment for his set. He has written some wicked awesome songs, but I can not stand to hear him sing. I only wish that Jerry was still alive so I could have seen the Grateful Dead, but still, it was a great experience overall. The Dead / Bob Dylan / Robert Hunter Oct 05, 2019

kwyjibo2112 I've been a huge fan since the late 70's when my older brother brought home Welcome To My Nightmare. This was my first time seeing Alice Cooper and we had front row center, the BEST seats in the joint. Wednesday 13 turned out to be amazing! I really really regret not recording them. RAMBO was the best! I did hang my mics over the balcony to capture a great sounding live recording. One of my best. After the show, I grabbed my 1978 Marvel Premiere #50 so Alice could sign it. I stood behind the Aud in the freezing rain by his bus, but when he finally came out, he bee-lined it onto the bus. D'oh!! But, his daughter, Calico, came out soon after him and saw me and came over to talk to me. I asked if she could take it in and get it signed but she said that he wouldn't like it if she did. Ok. She hung out with me for about 15 minutes in the rain, just talking. She is cool! I asked for her autograph, and I got it. Should have asked for a photo, too. She then got on the bus and they left. A great night. Alice Cooper / Wednesday13 Oct 04, 2019
kwyjibo2112 The drummer at this time for Bad Co. was Simon Kirke and it was his birthday. It also happen to be my then girlfriend's birthday as well. About the middle of the show, they got the whole crowd to sing Happy Birthday to him and I told her that I arranged this for her. She knew I was joking. For me, seeing Tommy Shaw was the highlight of the show, as I was and am a huge Styx fan. Bad Company / Damn Yankees Oct 04, 2019
Scooterpam It started pouring down rain halfway through Squeeze set. Luckily my sister and I were able to sneak down front under the rooftop & get right up front. We even got Squeeze set list! I’ve seen X many times, but Squeeze only twice. It was an epic show! X / Squeeze Oct 04, 2019
kwyjibo2112 Go here to listen to the recording of this show. Please note that the last 2 songs are missing, due to a technical error. Bummer! https://archive.org/details/mc2003-08-21.cd.flac16/mc2003-08-21set1t01.flac The local band that opened the show played longer than Max Creek, which really pissed off us Creeks freaks. But even a short Creek show is better than no Creek show. Max Creek Oct 04, 2019

kwyjibo2112 This was my very first rock concert. It was a freezing Saturday night in Rochester but as soon as we walked in and staked out our spot about 15 feet from the stage on stage left, we noticed that there were scores of girls (and women) walking around in just their bras or bikini tops. This was definitely going to be a chick show. It was supposed to start at 8 pm, but around 8:30, they announced that one of the equipment trucks was late for some reason and it should start around 9ish. Kix was ok but everyone wanted to see Whitesnake. Steve Vai was filling in for Adrian Van Den Berg, who broke his wrist skate boarding or something like that. We were 15 away from Steve Vai. What a show he put on. The other guys were good, too. LOL. About half way thru the show, people all around the arena started flicking their cigarettes down on the people below. After I got hit by one, I turned around to see what it was and there were little red dots raining down from the upper seats. It looked kinda cool, but it hurt. And if one landed in some chicks big, hair-sprayed hair, it would have gone up in flames. After almost 30 years, it all seems so clear in my mind like it was last week. Great show, even tho the girl I went with turned out to be a, well, you get the point. Whitesnake / Kix Oct 03, 2019
kwyjibo2112 My first time seeing RUSH and was scheduled on my 19th birthday!! Pushed back 9 days as Geddy was sick. Thanks a lot, Ged. Mr. Big, with The Billy Sheehan on bass, open the show. We had seats at stage level, across the arena from the stage. Perfect seats! Had binoculars during Billy's bass solo and Neil's drum solo. 2 dreams come true in one night! The first of many RUSH shows. The ticket was only $19.50. What a deal! Rush / Mr. Big Oct 03, 2019
kwyjibo2112 I was able to find someone who recorded the Iron Maiden set. Too bad he didn't get the Black Sabbath as well. Long day, but great show. Ozzfest 2005 Oct 03, 2019

Hilton807 I was there. I was a junior in high school. I had attended a few concerts before this, but I had never heard anything so loud in my life. Not a concert, nothing. I was ina garage band by then, but even sitting in front of my guitar amp couldn’t produce the sound pressure levels I heard that night. A rough crowd, too. Robin Trower / Joe Vitale's Madmen Oct 02, 2019
[email protected] He is hilarious and amazingly talented. In between puppets, he ate a State Fair cream puff on stage, and recorded it to put on his facebook page. Go watch it! Jeff Dunham Oct 02, 2019
