Georges A. Gauthier With 4 albums in 5 years you feel Fontaines D.C. energy even if no particular member or element of the show stood out. Grian Chattan doesn’t showboat, doesn’t even banter with the crowd but remains an effective frontman. They are greater than the sums of their parts live Been Stellar / Fontaines D.C. Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Marie-Pierre Arthur has a great energy & was psyched to be opening for Karkwa @ MTelus. Maybe a bit too pop for me, leaning heavily on the keyboard there was no denying the talent. Marie‐Pierre Arthur Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Karkwa on their victory lap, playing a 5th night at MTelus this year and wrapping their 2 year comeback tour. It was flawless. Perhaps less emotionally charged for me because this was my 4th time on this tour but still, what a band! Karkwa Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Cage the Elephant have always had festival levels of energy, even when they were an opening band in a small venue. So it was gratifying to see them in their “natural” setting with fireworks and anthemic awesomeness. Cage The Elephant Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier It had been many years since I’d seen The Beaches and now they rated the main stage at Osheaga which they absolutely deserved. They always had energy, but now they wielded their influence on the crowd with, dare I say it, maturity. The Beaches Oct 10, 2025
Justin Thiele We look great! Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier She has a heavy groove with the self assurance of a pop icon. She boasts a great voice and oodles of charm as she struts the stage like a runway. I was impressed her pop was complex yet approachable, like a new Blondie. Marina Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier TVOTR have often disappointed me in the past because they lack nuance live, dialing everything up to 10. But this time I enjoyed their unabashed rocking. I realized I missed them after their long hiatus. TV On the Radio Oct 10, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier While there was nothing wrong with Whitney’s set, it was not a very memorable show. It may have been that their vibe was less suited to a large outdoor festival scene than the small clubs I’ve seen them in before. Whitney Oct 10, 2025

Douglass Williams I was there. The concert was: The Animals, (reformed version) doing "San Francisco Nights," and, of course, "Sky Pilot." They even had a film that they played along with on "Pilot." Blue Cheer Preceded The Animals, doing all their songs from their debut album, Vincebus Eruptum. The Cheer were excellent, backed by their wall of Marshall amps. Sounded like their album... loud and nasty! The opening band was local group, Thackeray Rocke. The venue was at the AZ State Fairgrounds, but not in the Coliseum. Instead, this was nearby at a place called the Exhibition Building, which was where they showed off livestock during the fair. Great show! Blue Cheer Oct 09, 2025
