Georges A. Gauthier Although I adore the album sound, the live version is a little too messy. Hælos Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier An entirely respectable opening act. What can I say? I enjoyed the one song I enjoyed Chromatics / Tess Roby / Desire Oct 31, 2025
Troy Marchant Originally scheduled for September 9-12, 2020, but got postponed due to Covid. Progpower USA XXI Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Having been a fan for years for a band that seldom tours, I was excited by the prospect of seeing them. Ultimately the show was alright but could have been upgraded to “good” if had been at any other venue. I hate the SAT Chromatics / Tess Roby / Desire Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier The National put on a masterful performance, translating a delicate album into a rock show while loosing none of that sense of intimacy. The National / Hannah Georgas Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Happy to see HG again and opening for The National no less who took pains to pick a CAN team of vocalists. Unfortunately she did seem a bit lost of such a large stage. The National / Hannah Georgas Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier His jazz/first nation fusion of pop was riveting. The way he wove a story with the wax recordings of his people, his voice, the piano and his marvellous accompanying cellist and drummer was inspired Jeremy Dutcher Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier I had hoped that a few spectacular albums down the road, they would sound better live. They do, in every way except the most important. They still can’t sing, but what an amazing show. The fantastic light show helped distract from their vocal shortcomings alt-J Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Laura Escudé, 2 Aug. Very cool music and dynamic live DJ set was unfortunately marred by technical glitches. First day, first show at Osheaga. Growing pains expected Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Dear Rouge, 2 Aug. Good choice for a festival band, they display more enthusiasm than talent. Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier St-Paul & The Broken Bones, 2 Aug. Channeling some of the Blues Brothers, the Alabamans both sounded and looked great in their matching K-Way jackets (courtesy of lost luggage). Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Nothing is more coveted and rare in concert-going than finding an artist who’s live performance measures up to their recording prowess. Sharon Van Etten is such a unicorn. She gave, what I’m sure will be, my favourite show Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Interpol couldn’t go wrong playing most of “Antics” and “...Bright Lights”. For a festival crowd, one plays the hits and with hits like theirs, there’s no shame in that. Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier ake a rebel, like Johnny Cash, Iggy Pop or Ozzy and give him a Dylan like rasp & a skilled back up band on par with the Heartbreakers and you might get close to Kurt Vile & the Violators. Or choose to ignore the musical comparisons & just judge them by the company they evoke Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Lumineers, 2 Aug. The stage had no recognizable theme, the lights uninspired, the performance was flawless though devoid of distinguishing character and the songs are, to my ear, paint by number folk-rock simulacra. I left after 5 songs to go to bed. Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Braids sounded as scintillating live as their lush albums. All new songs promises another solid addition to their discography Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier This was my third viewing this year, yet the U.S. Girls remain captivating as ever. Remy must have made some new converts as she lead the Osheaga festival goers around like a disco-funk-rock pied piper. Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier Beach House hasn't changed it's minimalist show in the last 6 years. Legrand occasionally throws her hair up against the abstract backdrop while Scally mostly sits with his guitar. Static as statues in the dark. They play their music, little else. Maybe nothing else is needed? Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier The Chemical Brothers represent the nineties for me, in a way grunge did not. This was the music I listened to and to this day I'd rather dance to techno than mosh, as I did last night. Back with another one of those block rockin' beats! Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
Georges A. Gauthier I don’t know if grandson manages to make all his show that amazing or if this was a lightning strike but his mix of earnest anger and desperation mixed with genuine gratitude and humility was deeply affecting. Osheaga Music & Arts 2019 Oct 31, 2025
