fairedanserlesours Loved dancing to Radio 4. Great set by the Arcade Fire. They Might be Giants always fun. Iggy Pop was his usual self, it was great. Many great performances, but this festival remains a bitter memory because of New Order. Bernard Sumner appeared on stage with a glass of wine trying to be funny, and then it got worse. Then they butchered their classics, including "Love will tear us apart". This was 20 years ago and I still remember it vividly, perhaps because I was (and still am) a big fan.  Darren Fry Great show as always and the songs are timeless. Pretty much the same set as the last tour though. Was expecting Ian Hornal as ‘Eric’ but we got Andy Park as the substitute substitute! He did very well but of course is not Eric Stewart! Ric Fenn was great value as always. Sound was pretty good although would have liked to have heard more of Graham’s Ric! 10CC Jul 17, 2025
Chris Nunez 707 Gotcha , so many shows , and memories fading! lol I do remember that show now ! Thanks for the clarification, I always thought it was a weird venue for that lineup! Skid Row / Pantera Jul 17, 2025
5fives Unfortunately, you are mistaken. Pantera and Skid Row were the only two bands that performed at this show. Black Sabbath did play at this location, with Exodus and Skew Siskin, on November 12 of the same year. Maybe that's where you got confused. Skid Row / Pantera Jul 17, 2025

Nancyonly I was Zip Code Chairman for the Danny Thomas Teenagers March for St Jude's Hospital in 1968. We were the #1 for Whittier, Ca. I arrange rental buses for our volunteers to see the Turtles to give them thanks. I got the Swine Flu (awful) and couldn't go myself. The attendees thought it was all terrific! I am glad. Still remember how horrible I felt for days! Three Dog Night / The Turtles / Blue Cheer / The Righteous Brothers / José Feliciano Jul 16, 2025
