Kip4500 Night Ranger was the opening act. Kiss put on a great show, I think Paul had a yellow Kiss tank top, Vinnie played fast and Eric played Loud. I bought a concert t-shirt and on the back had a Tank and it said "If Its Too Loud you are Too Old" KISS Jul 02, 2025
stepsix Possibly due to overselling the venue, one of the promoters was stabbed, the doors were shut while they found the offender, and a riot broke out outside while a police riot squad showed up as the show went on inside. Some fires broke out as well, possibly in some cars, and I seem to recall that it ended up on the evening news. NOFX / The Vandals / Pennywise / Voodoo Glow Skulls / Face To Face Jul 02, 2025

janicethemenace I too remember this awesome show ~ well mostly ~ due to tailgating special brownies & bourbon. Still found the gate and my seat. Enjoyed the show especially the Stones and even Prince. Also remember the track circling the field turning into a street fair of drugs & goodies ~ I believe the inner portion was going clockwise & the outer counterclockwise ~ fascinating! ah the adventures of youth! The Rolling Stones / The J. Geils Band / George Thorogood and The Destroyers / Prince Jul 01, 2025

mpiazza I distinctly remember Fee Waybill and the Tubes as the supporting act and when he came out on stage in those ridiculous platform shoes I almost wet myself laughing. I especially remember Bill Graham's people dumping Frisbees onto the stage and flinging them into the audience because Zeppelin was late. I remember because I almost had my head taken off by one as I crouched over to get something out of my backpack and I felt something whiz through my hair and nail the guy behind me in the throat. Great concert but I don't think the guy behind felt that way. Led Zeppelin Jul 01, 2025
