 Wilbert Ebbers Indian Askin: 2 stars out of 5 ALTERNATIVE CONCERT In a special COVID-19 setting I’ve been to the second show that night, not knowing the setlists of the two shows would be complimentary - so songs you might expect could have been played in the first show and not repeated in the second. They’ve tried to create an alternative atmosphere i.e. by gradually removing instruments and attributes from the podium towards the end of the concert and not closing down the concert but simply starting to talk to the small audience.  Wilbert Ebbers The Haunted Youth: 5 stars out of 5 BEAUTIFUL! I’ve seen them a few weeks ago in De Helling Utrecht which was probably a tryout for Pukkelpop and yesterday with probably the same setlist as opening for Hit the City 2024 Eindhoven.  Wilbert Ebbers Blaudzun: 3.5 stars out of 5 ENTERTAINING EVENING My first Blaudzun concert and for me it ended much better than it started. When Blaudzun said he would play some older songs there was more variation in the concert and ofcourse the better songs were played in the last half hour.  Wilbert Ebbers DeWolff: 2.75 stars out of 5 I ENJOYED IT FOR 75% I really enjoyed the first half of the concert until they ended the concert with extremely long songs with many solo’s and often almost stop and resume the same songs.  Wilbert Ebbers Gang of Youths: 3.75 stars out of 5 WONDERFUL! Apart from a few songs I knew them from, I did not know what to expect this evening.  Wilbert Ebbers Bear’s Den: 3.5 stars out of 5 WONDERFUL & INTENSE Almost not familiar with Bears Den I was ready to be surprised and a nice surprise it was. During the concert he apologised for playing many ‘sad’ songs, on the good side of the sad song spectrum but if that’s what it is, then please give me more ‘sad’ music! Really enjoyed the show, especially the acoustic sets. I liked Andrews short talks between the songs, relaxed and spontaneous. When will we see them again in The Netherlands?
