stephenhuerta	04/11/2026: When I received the official John Lennon email announcing this filmed 1972 concert, I just about flipped out. 1972 was a defining year for John Lennon, activism and battling the Nixon administration, and his final concerts in NYC, The “One To One” Concerts at Madison Square Garden. According to all the articles written about this newly restored, multiscreen and digitized release, all frames were individually hand cleaned. With such meticulous restoration, I’m ready to be amazed. Titled, “Power To The People”, it features the Plastic Ono Band, with Elephants Memory, and special guests. Lennon’s only full length solo performances after leaving The Beatles. I’m seeing the screening at the Tlaquepaque Forum Cinépolis movie theater, in Guadalajara, Mexico, April 29, 2026, 7:00pm.
