Facts:
There was a pre-concert in the parking lot featuring local bands at the Boots On! Stage from 2:30PM-5:30PM, it was free.
The concert sold out and was the biggest in Calgary's history with 30,000 tickets sold.
Mayor Nenshi kicked off the concert, everyone booed Premier Redford and Prime Minister Harper was a surprise guest in the stands.
There were non-musical breaks between each of the bands and Brent Butt was the MC introducing everyone.
The concert was supposed to end at 10PM but, clearing the stage was time consuming and there were a few sound issues.
The entire 4 hour concert was televised by Telus, except for Nickelback whose performance was reserved for concertgoers.
The concert raised more than 1.4 million for Alberta flood victims.
