Ozzy Osbourne is one of heavy metal's greatest pioneers. In 1968, he co-founded Black Sabbath alongside Tony Iommi, Bill Ward, and Geezer Butler. He was the lead singer of the band until 1979. The following year, he released his debut solo album "Blizzard of Ozz." It and remained his highest-ranked album until "Ordinary Man" (2020). Ozzy released his thirteenth and final album "Patient Number 9" in 2022. In February 2023, he retired from touring due to injuries sustained from a fall in 2019 and a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. On July 5, 2025, Ozzy Osbourne performed live for the final time as part of the original line-up of Black Sabbath, the first time the group had performed together since 2005. 17 days later, on July 22, 2025, Ozzy passed away at the age of 76.
