Billy Joel (born William Martin Joel, May 9, 1949) is one of the world's most acclaimed pop-rock musicians of the 20th century. By the end of the 1970s, Joel was an international sensation, with "52nd Street" (1978) becoming his first number-one album in the US. In 2001, he released his thirteenth and final studio album to date "Fantasies & Delusions." Joel has toured extensively since, often with other major artists of his era including Elton Jon and Stevie Nicks.
