Loverboy did not perform at this concert. It was, The Tubes(who practically got booed off the stage,) Bryan Adams, John Cougar, Sammy Hagar and Journey.
I was there that day. It rained. None of the bands wanted to play because of the potential to be electrocuted. Only John Cougar came out, said you all paid to see a concert and f’mm being electrocuted, we will play even if none of the others will. And proceeded to rock JFK stadium.
I was there. Loverboy was not. John Cougar was instead.
