Sundae's Concert Archive

It will be hard to add the 100's of Blues, Rock and various concerts I've attended. I'll start by adding the most memorable, or ones that I can remember the dates.

Sundae has 1 Gordon Lightfoot concert.

Gordon Lightfoot (born Gordon Meredith Lightfoot Jr., November 17, 1938 – May 1, 2023) was a pioneer of folk-rock music. Originally from Orillia, Ontario, he is often regarded as one of Canada's greatest musicians. After releasing a handful of Top 100 Hits in Canada in the 1960s, he began achieving international recognition the following decade. His 1970 single "If You Could Read My Mind" was his first number-one hit in Canada and the first to land on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Four years later, his single "Sundown" became his first number-one in the States. Over the next six decades, Lightfoot continued creating new music with his final album "Solo" dropping in 2020. Some of his most popular songs include "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald," "Carefree Highway," "Beautiful," "For Lovin' Me," and many others. After a long and successful career, Lightfoot passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 84. He died of natural causes amid declining health.
