Their band name is derived from the cheat code to enable blood effects in the Sega Genesis version of the video game Mortal Kombat, Upon releasing their 2004 Demo, the band quickly gained popularity in the East Coast scene. Two years after this release, the band released a 2 song sampler through 187 Records in 2006 and toured extensively in the East Coast and Midwest.
